Really relaxing!

Lee J - 1st December 2025

A fantastic place to stay if you're after a really relaxing getaway from the daily grind. I just wanted to lie on a couch, read a book and not talk to anyone - which it was absolutely perfect for! The wonderful parade of kangaroos jumping past the loungeroom each day on dusk was a bonus.

Recommend

This was the second time I stayed at this exact cabin this year. I was very happy to stay here again. There was an electrical issue with one of the appliances this stay, which was a shame. These things happen, and our host was on top of the issue and provided alternative solutions. A problem happens every now and then - and this will clearly show you if you have a good host, or not. I would happily stay here again and can recommend our host.

You're absolutely right — how things are handled makes all the difference, and we're glad we could provide a solution that worked. We'd be delighted to welcome you back anytime!

Modern conveniences

Justin L - 5th July 2025

Accurate description. It is a fairly new cabin with modern conveniences. About 20min drive to Thredbo and 10min to Jindabyne. Small kitchen with cook top and microwave, no in built oven. BBQ outside with furniture. Decent size TV and blutooth lamp-speaker. Heated floors throughout. and a liquid fireplace. We had a good time.

Great location and superb spacious accommodation

Mike - 29th April 2024

Great location and superb spacious accommodation with all the amenities you'd want. Comfortable beds and easy to stay in for extended time. Nights are all but silent once the traffic on the Alpine Way dies down. You notice the cars because it's so quiet but pretty much all stays in the area will suffer the similarly.
